10 Minute Homemade Pita Chips

Healthy snacks are easy to come by, but finding a healthy snack that is actually filling can be a tad bit harder.My BFF baked these homemade pita chips for our little holiday get together this year and they were so tasty. We dipped them in hummus, guacamole, salsa - you name it. Turns out, they are super easy to make and are a perfect addition to your nutritious snack arsenal.

The Ingredients:

3 slices of flatbread/pita bread
2 tbsp. olive oil
tomato basil garlic seasoning (add to taste)

The Directions:

Cut flatbread into six small triangles and glaze with olive oil. Sprinkle with tomato basil spice and place on greased cookie sheet. 

Bake at 400 degrees for 5-8 minutes. Pair freshly baked pita chips with hummus for a deliciously healthy treat. For more hummus recipes, visit Athenos' recipe page.
