Workout Bag Essentials

Spring is here and the weather is finally reaching temps above 30 degrees! That means more outside running, biking, and walking the pup along the Monon trail. I can't wait to get outside and enjoy the spring sunshine.

To celebrate this beautiful weather, my friends and I signed up last minute for the Shamrock 5K Beer Run. This being my second attempt at a 5K, I was going to try and beat my last finishing time. However, considering the name of this event, it may be more of a "let's see how well Katy can run and drink" race. Either way, I have a good feeling it'll be a blast and much more fun than a typical workout.

We are going all out this time and making DIY tulle St. Patrick's Day tutus! Pics and updates to come.  In the meantime, let's take a peek inside my workout bag essentials.

1. Tech Fit Sports Bra: A supportive sports bra is an absolute must for good workout.
2. JVC Gummy Ear Buds:  These ear buds never fall out when I’m trucking along on the treadmill.
3. iPhone 5C: A workout isn't complete without an awesome playlist.
4. Vita Coco Coconut Water: Coconut water is an acquired taste, but super hydrating.
5. Nike Running Shoes: Running shoes make all the difference in running performance.
6. Camelbak Eddy Water Bottle: This is a workout bag essential for sure. Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate!
